80% of the foreigners in haiti before this disaster were missionaries and church groups. providing schools, orphanages, adult education, and more. g-d has a lot to do with it.

danny glover has his own take on this. i hope he's kidding.

how many people are thinking about going there to help? im guessing everyone here.
there is a basic instinct in all of us that wants to help another in an emergency, to lift peices of rubble, to help find at least one more surviver.

i'm watching the news this morning. they're showing people digging thru the wreckage pulling out stuff. and they're calling it looting. what, at this point i just don't see how this could be looting. this is more about surviving.

I thought the same after Katrina. Granted, there is looting and there is survival. I think gathering essential items in a situation like this is far different than than grabbing TVs. If my family was hurt and hungry, you just try to stop me from getting anything they needed.............

today right a man was found alive after 11 days in the rubble. that is amazing
to me when a disaster hits alot of people want to help, and that brings out the humanity inside of them out, *if only they can always be like that*

its like they have a soul and they do something meaning ful, and then a couple of days later they become evil again

yes dominicans are poor too
................
on a side note i am not responsible for what i am saying right now, i am totally sleepy
hmm
yeah yeah

The houses there are made of un reinforced cinderblocks, they stack the houses so close together almost on top of each other.
