Looks good buddy.:P

I already added it to my aMule in Linux, and will add it to my eMule next time I boot into Windows.. :P

One thing I still don't know, is this list to be used in addtion to PG or BlueTack lists, or can it be used as a replacement?

Ah, I see, in the application it's self then is what is recommended. I have it is in my aMule in Linux already. How do you use it in other clients, LimeWire, Frostwire, Ares, Shareaza etc? Is it best to use the blocklist converter at Bluetack, or is there another way?

If a client does support an IpFilter List to be loaded and so used to ban any potential enemy range it does claim this just in own features ,
Bit Comet , Azureus , Limewire , Shareaza and many more do use a similar feature .
Anyway , in order to import the list in any of them you need to convert the list using the Blocklist Manager By Bluetack according to the format required .

Reset to [,000,] - Set on filter level(Pref.-Adv-.Sec.) -> 55

Info : Added new DoD and NSA(+15) ips range thanks to Gary McKinnon

R i g h t, who proves this? The reason many sharers stopped using P2P blocking was that the list became absurd, and you couldnt even get to Blockbuster, Netflix, or freakin WalMart without haivng to edit lists every day.

Are you going to stay on top of this and ensure that inoculous entries are removed? No one needs to Block the City of Tacoma Power and Utilities, and most entries are really just bloat and worthless.

I think that this is the advantage of using it on the client side, instead of as a firewall or PG/Protowall list. Only IP's connecting through the client it's self are blocked or allowed.

I also believe that Bullet has a team working with him, but I'll let him clarify. :hehe:

Sorry for the delay , we are in mission most of time ;D , anyhow :

--IpfilterX - Updated : 20/11/k5 .

- About our friend that doesn't read good this thread i wanna say :

-- No one is forcing you to use this list , but many do as i do ,
believing that if we can not stop them catching some unlucky filetrader ,
we can stop most of them , their unfair connections to our machines,
because it's out of any doubt that they do connect with our machines ,
especially DoD Networks , they know and use stuff that you can't even imagine if not elsewhere , for example watching some scifi movie ,
where the paranoid incarnated in some human or lobby is nothing other than paranoid about a thin potential future of the mankind .
I could paste some log here but it's worthless ,
if you allow this :
11/8/2005 5:54:57 PM: Filtered (reject as new source): 30.249.82.0
I'm sure you don't keep any doubt about the Gouvernement of the United States ,
and the Multinational Companies ,
Whose sure don't love that People are able to share as so many info as much we do anyday .
It's not about the filesharing , it's a War about Information and the Power that wants control it .
- About your thought , we don't block City of Tacoma or other cities , most of our entries are useful and come banned so often ,
next time you want bring here some shine of knowledge please keep yourself informed well about the matter .

-And again : yes , using the list in any p2p client that permits this
,it is useful , very...
I want watch anytime my nice and sweet DoD sites ,
:-D
