The only problem I have run into is that I can download so much, so quickly, it can take a bit of time to verify and unRAR all the files. But there are much worse problems to have........

You can set QuickPar to do that for you. The only time it does though, if file/s need repairing. Otherwise, you still have to delete them manually. Of course, once your file is opened and rebuilt, you don't need anything in the folder anyway (unless you need the subs), so you can just delete the whole thing.

Everyone should stay away from them. Nothing to see here, move along.
In fact the only thing in newzgroups are white papers on alternative uses for belly lint and earwax.
Did I say they are evil? Most likely created by Satan to lure newbs into the pits of hell. You really really don't want to mess with newzgroups.
Try Limewire. Really.

Well not exactly. Some of us are still to cheap to pay for access to a news server.
Oh well I still find what I want, just a little slower.

However, if they don't meet the criteria above, you will need to look into purchasing a commercial NewsServer account. This actually may be the best way to go since most providers guarantee a certain amount of anonymity. In any event we have 2 very good providers as advertisers and in the name of full disclosure we will get a small commision if you subscribe to them via our link.
If you decide you want to go through with using NewsGroups, I have written a basic tutorial you can read and if you have any questions we will all be very happy to help you get started.
Hope this helps, it is really a great way to download, as long as you can hook up with a good NewsServer..........
