What’s new with me?
Well first off second semester has started off on a great foot. I am still stressed out but, it is a good type of stress.
I had a pop quiz in My Windows XP class. It was about how to change the screensaver! And there was people in the class that where stuck. One guy crashed it to a BSOD? How the hell do you do that in less then 30 seconds???
Moving on
I had a reality shock. People around me are coming down with cancer right and left. My cousin’s mother died of brain cancer and my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. All of this stuff has made me rethink my life. So I quit smoking on new years and have revamped my life style. I have made it my goal to be 100% med compliant and have been more active then I have been in the last 4 years. I know that I am overweight and I have a thyroid issues which does not help. I have the exercise down and just need to start eating right. My meds kill my appetite and I end up eating nothing all day and wind up stuffing my face in the evenings. I have to start forcing me to eat something during the day. I have also been walking about a mile a day (the other day I walked 4.5).
School is great. I’m the biggest nerd in class and the only guy that is familiar with **nix and have proven my networking teacher wrong on a few occasions. It does not help that the book we are working out of has quite a few errors in it.
I am getting tired of public transportation. The people that are in charge of the budgets have no need for it so they can justify an ever shrinking budget while supporting the shutdown of stretches of highway. The only way some people are going to be able to commute is on the metro-Link. So you put 12 millionish on the new highway project and 100 000 on the public transport system! MO you need to get your act together. We on the other side of the river are having problems with your decisions. You are not the only people that use the bistate system!
Enough about that.
I plan on bloggin my ass off because it helps with my memory and gives me a place to post the assignments that I have everyday!
